Injured during surgery In 2013 Mrs P had surgery to remove a mass, suspected to be a tumour, from the bowel. The operation involved her having a colostomy bag fitted. Once the bowel had recovered she underwent another operation two years later to re-join the bowel such that she would no longer need the bag. During this second procedure an injury was caused to her bowel - the injury of which wasn’t recognised at the time. An injury was also caused to her vaginal wall which caused very unpleasant and distressing symptoms. Her claim was settled for £50,000.00 compensation.
What the client said about Sara Westwood: "Sara did an amazing job for us. She explained everything and advised fully. I'm very grateful and over-the-moon with the outcome."
